Abstract
Beta-agonist carbostyril derivatives having the formula ##STR1## wherein X may be the ortho, meta or para position and is selected from the group consisting of halogen, amino and substituted and unsubstituted lower alkanoylamino having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and complexes thereof.

A compound having beta-adrenergic receptor agonist properties having the formula:
- ##STR3## wherein X may be the ortho, meta or para position and is selected from the group consisting of halogen, amino and substituted and unsubstituted lower alkanoylamino having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms wherein said substituents are pharmaceutically acceptable and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and complexes thereof.
