Chewable medicament tablets are made from coated granules of medicament wherein the coating on said granules comprises a blend of cellulose acetate or cellulose acetate butyrate and polyvinyl pyrrolidone.

A chewable tablet of a medicament comprising compressed coating granules, said coated granules individually comprising medicament coated with a blend of (a) cellulose acetate or cellulose acetate butyrate and (b) polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
