Abstract
Azeotrope-like compositions comprising 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane and methanol are stable and have utility as degreasing agents and as solvents in a variety of industrial cleaning applications including cold cleaning and defluxing of printed circuit boards.

Azeotrope-like compositions consisting essentially of 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane and methanol which boil at about 29.8.degree. C..+-.0.05.degree. C. at about 765 mm Hg.
Azeotrope-like compositions consisting essentially of from about 93.0 to about 98.0 weight percent 1,1-dichloro-1-fluoroethane and from about 7 to about 2 weight percent methanol.
