Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for producing aromatic compounds from a hydrocarbon gas containing paraffinic hydrocarbons under conversion conditions in the presence of a catalyst comprising a gallosilicate molecular sieve and a platinum metal component.
Claims11
A process for converting a gaseous hydrocarbon feed containing paraffinic hydrocarbons to aromatic hydrocarbons which comprises contacting the feed under conversion conditions with a catalyst composition comprising a gallosilicate molecular sieve, a platinum metal component and a chloride component present in an amount ranging from about 0.1 to about 10 wt. % based on the total weight of the composition.
A process for converting gaseous hydrocarbons in a feed comprising paraffinic hydrocarbons and a chloride-containing compound to aromatic hydrocarbons which comprises contacting the feed under conversion conditions with a catalyst composition comprising a gallosilicate molecular sieve and a platinum metal component.
