Abstract
This invention relates to aromatic 2-aminoalkyl derivatives of 1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H)one-1,1-dioxides, processes for the preparation of same, and to their use as anxiolytic and antihypertensive agents.
Claims6
An aromatic 2-amino-alkyl-1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H)one-1,1-dioxide derivative having the formula ##STR24## wherein n is an integer of from 2 to 5;
- X is ##STR25## R.sub.1 is hydrogen, hydroxy or methoxy;
- and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof.
A compound according to claim 7 which is 2-[4-(1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-.beta.-carbolinyl)butyl]-1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H )one-1,1-dioxide and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
