Abstract
The compounds ##STR1## in which X and Y are, independently, --O-- or --S--; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are, independently, halo, trifluoromethyl, cyano, hydroxy, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkoxy, alkyl or alkanoylamino; and n is 1 to 4; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, are selective serotonergic agents useful in the treatment of depression and/or anxiety, as well as related sexual dysfunctions and appetite disorders.
Claims5
A compound of the formula:
- ##STR7## in which X and Y are, independently, --O-- or --S--;
- R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are, independently, hydrogen, halo, trifluoromethyl, cyano, hydroxy, amino, alkylamino of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, dialkylamino of 2 to 12 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or alkanoylamido of 2 to 6 carbon atoms;
- and
- n is one of the integers 1, 2, 3 or 4;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
