Abstract
A medicament for curing arteriosclerosis which comprises pyrimido [2,1-b] benzothiazole derivative.

A composition for the treatment of arteriosclerosis or hyperlipedemia, or for inhibiting coagulation of blood platelets, comprising an effective amount of a pyrimido [2,1-b]benzothiazole of the formula (I):
- ##STR3## wherein ph is a phenyl group, and R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A method for the treatment of an animal suffering from arteriosclerosis, which comprises administering to the sufferer an effective amount of a pyrimido [2,1-b]benzothiazole of the formula (I):
- ##STR4## wherein ph is a phenyl group, and R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
A method for treating an animal suffering from hyperlipedemia, which comprises administering to the sufferer an effective amount of a pyrimido [2,1-b]benzothiazole of the formula (I):
- ##STR5## wherein ph is a phenyl group, and R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
A method for inhibiting coagulation of blood platelets in an animal, which comprises administering to the animal in need thereof an effective amount of a pyrimido [2,1-b]benzothiazole of the formula (I):
- ##STR6## wherein ph is a phenyl group, and R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
