Abstract
Diisocyanates and isomeric mixtures of diisocyanates corresponding to the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, m and n are as defined herein are made by phosgenating diamines corresponding to the formula ##STR2## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, m and n are as defined herein at a temperature of from -20.degree. to 250.degree. C. These diisocyanates are particularly useful as starting materials for the production of polyurethanes by the isocyanate polyaddition process.
Claims10
A diisocyanate or isomeric mixture of diisocyanates corresponding to the formula ##STR7## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, provided that two of the radicals R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represent hydrogen and
- m and n each represent 0 or 1 provided that m+n=1 and when m or n is zero, the free valence is filled with hydrogen.
