Abstract
A low-level, low-power radio frequency (RF) communications system designed to operate as a point-to-point power line communications sytem (PLC) utilizing frequencies from 50 to 600 MegaHertz (MHz) superimposed onto the AC power signal in a building.
Claims10
A circuit for power wiring transmission of a very high frequency signal comprising a transmitter to superimpose the signal on a power line, a receiver to receive the very high frequency signal on the power line and to separate said very high frequency signal from the power component of the signal, and to provide said very high frequency signal as an output signal, said transmitter including a multi-stage amplifier, the final stage of said multi-stage amplifier being a highly stable overrated hybrid amplifier with a wideband frequency response.
