Cut sheet holding and feeding apparatus

A cut sheet feeding apparatus comprising:

• loading means for loading cut sheets thereon;
• a rotating feed member for feeding the cut sheets;
• an openable-closable cover covering the cut sheets loaded on said loading means;
• and
• a guide member for guiding cut sheets introduced onto said loading means away from said rotating feed member, said guide member assuming a guide position when said cover is open, and assuming a non-guide position away from the cut sheets when said cover is closed.

A cut sheet holding apparatus comprising:

• loading means for loading cut sheets thereon;
• a separation pawl for restraining the cut sheets;
• an openable-closable cover covering the cut sheets loaded on said loading means;
• and
• a guide member for guiding cut sheets introduced onto said loading means away from said separation pawl, said guide member assuming a guide position when said cover is open, and assuming a non-guide position away from the cut sheets when said cover is closed.

A cut sheet feeding apparatus comprising:

• loading means for loading cut sheets thereon;
• a rotating feed member for feeding the cut sheets;
• separating means for restraining leading edges of the cut sheets loaded on said loading means;
• an openable-closable cover covering the cut sheets loaded on said loading means;
• and
• a guide member for guiding cut sheets introduced onto said loading means away from said rotating feed means and said separating means, said guide member assuming a guide position when said cover is open, and assuming a non-guide position away from the cut sheets when said cover is closed.
