Abstract
An electrophotographic plate comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer containing a naphthalocyanine compound having siloxy groups bonded to the central metal silicon as a charge generating substance has high sensitivity to the longer wavelength light of about 800 nm without conducting a special treatment.
Claims6
An electrophotographic plate comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer containing an organic photoconductive substance as a charge generating material formed on the substrate, said organic photoconductive substance being a naphthalocyanine compound represented by the formula:
- ##STR6## where L is a group of the formula:
- R.sub.1 R.sub.2 R.sub.3 Si--O--;
- R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently hydrogen, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group.
