A digital switching system is described for providing time division multiplexed digital communication of parallel sequential signals of N words each of M bit length between N telephone data subscribers over N transmission lines in which an array of orthogonal RAM memory devices provide parallel-to-serial conversion and multiplexing of the N words each of M bit length to provide a time division multiplexed serial digital bit stream of M words, each N bits in length, which are transmitted over a transmission line to a serial-to-parallel converter and coupled to a second orthogonal RAM memory device in which the N words M bits in length from the serial-to-parallel converter are stored and coupled to N telephone data subscribers over the transmission lines.
A private automatic branch exchange for providing time division multiplex digital communication and switching of parallel sequential signals of N words each of M bit length plus an additional signalling bit associated with each N word between N telephone/data subscribers over N transmission lines comprising:
A local PABX system for providing digital communication of parallel sequential signals of N words each of M bit length between N telephone/data subscribers over N pairs of conductors each pair of conductors having a first end and a second end forming a first set of transmission lines each having a characteristic impedance of Z.sub.0 and wherein a transmitter and receiver is located at each subscriber and is coupled to said first end of said N pairs of conductors comprising:
A private automatic branch exchange communication system for providing time division multiplex digital communication and switching of parallel sequential signals comprising voltage pulses of N words each of M bit length, plus an additional signalling bit associated with each N word, between N telephone/data subscribers over N transmission lines each having a first and second wire comprising:
A private automatic branch exchange for providing time division multiplex digital communication and switching of parallel sequential signals of N words each of M bit length between telephone/data subscribers over transmission lines comprising:
A digital switching system for providing time division multiplexed serial digital signals for transmission from parallel sequential signals of N words each M bit length from N telephone/data subscribers over transmission lines comprising:
A digital switching system for providing time division demultiplexed parallel digital signals for transmission from serial sequential signals of N words each of M bit length, comprising:
