Abstract
2-Halo-pyridine of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is Cl or Br; Ar is phenyl or substituted phenyl of the formula ##STR2## in which n is 0, 1, 2 or 3; R is C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, phenoxy, C.sub.1-4 alkylthio, halogen, OH or C.sub.6 H.sub.5 ; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

A 2-halo-pyridine of the formula:
- ##STR16## wherein X is Cl or Br;
- Ar is phenyl or substituted phenyl of the formula ##STR17## in which n is 0, 1, 2 or 3;
- R is C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy, phenoxy, C.sub.1-4 alkylthio, halogen, OH or C.sub.6 H.sub.5 ;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
