Abstract
A pharmaceutical preparation for learning stimulation and memory improvement comprising an active principle, viz. 9-amino-2,3,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-1H-cyclopenta(b)quinoline monohydrate hydrochloride of the following formula: ##STR1## and a pharmaceutically-acceptable vehicle.

A method for learning stimulation and memory improvement which comprises administering to a mammal requiring such treatment a learning stimulation or memory improving amount of a pharmaceutical preparation containing from 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of 9-amino-2,3,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-1H-cyclopenta(b)quinoline monohydrate hydrochloride of the following formula:
