Abstract
Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is methyl or other lower alkyl group; X and X' individually are hydrogen, lower alkyl, aryl, or halogen; and R' is a 2-haloethyl group or other halogenated lower alkyl group are useful in the treatment of neoplastic diseases.
Claims3
A process for preparing a compound having the formula:
- CH.sub.3 --SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --SO.sub.2 --O--R'
- wherein R' is haloalkyl which comprises treating methanesulfonyl chloride at low temperatures in an anhydrous inert solvent with a tertiary amine and adding to the resulting reaction mixture an alcohol of formula R'OH wherein R' is haloalkyl.
