Abstract
A method of treating a patient suffering from circulatory cardiovascular diseases which comprises the administration of a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising 2,4,6-triiodophenol or pharmacologically acceptable addition salts thereof, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier to the patient.

A method of treating a patient suffering from a disease selected from the group consisting of cerebral vascular insufficiency, coronary insufficiency, hepatic insufficiency, portal hypertension and chronic ischemia of the lower extremities, which comprises administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising 2,4,6-triiodophenol or pharmacologically acceptable addition salts thereof, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
