Abstract
A method for treating a patient suffering from muscular or joint diseases caused by inflammation comprising the steps of administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising 2,4,6-triiodophenol or the pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

A method of treating a patient suffering from muscular or joint diseases caused by inflammation, which comprises administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising 2,4,6-triiodophenol or pharmacologically acceptable addition salts thereof, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
