Abstract
A process for producing an air-permeable film is described, comprising stretching in at least one direction a film made of a composition comprising 42 to 87 vol % of a polyolefin resin and 58 to 13 vol % of an inorganic filler and further containing an aliphatic alcohol/fatty acid ester of a fatty acid having 10 to 22 carbon atoms and an aliphatic alcohol having 1 to 12 carbon atoms in an amount of 3 to 25 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the above composition.

A process for producing a soft, air-permeable film having substantially uniform thickness, which comprises stretching in at least one direction a film made of a composition comprising 42 to 87 vol % of a polyolefin resin and 58 to 13 vol % of an inorganic filler wherein an aliphatic alcohol/fatty acid ester of a fatty acid having 10 to 22 carbon atoms and an aliphatic alcohol having 1 to 12 carbon atoms is further added to the above composition in an amount of 3 to 25 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the composition.
