In a capacitor, a dielectric fluid comprising glyceryl triacetate and between about 30 to 90 vol. percent epoxidized soybean oil.
A capacitor comprising:
- a housing;
- a pair of convolutely wound metallized film electrodes enclosed within said housing;
- and
- a dielectric liquid excluding gasses from said housing and including glyceryl triacetate and about 30 to 90 vol. percent of epoxidized soybean oil.
