A method of stabilizing a polymer film coating or molded article against the action of light, moisture, and oxygen is disclosed. The method comprises incorporating in said polymer a stabilizingly and synergistically effective amount of: (A) A 2,2,6,6-tetraalkylpiperidine compound, or the acid addition salts or complexes with metal compounds thereof; and (B) A tris-aryl-s-triazine compound represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein X, Y and Z are each aromatic, carbocylic radicals of less than three 6-membered rings, and at least one of X, Y and Z is substituted by a hydroxy group ortho to the point of attachment to the triazine ring; and each of R.sup.1 through R.sup.9 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxy, alkyl, alkoxy, sulfonic, carboxy, halo, haloalkyl and acylamino. ,
