Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for concentrating light by means of fluorescent compounds in plastic sheets or films, wherein perylene compounds are used for this purpose.
Claims6
A perylene compound of the formula ##STR6## where Y.sup.5 is halogen or cyano,
- R.sup.1 is hydrogen, straight-chain or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl or C.sub.5 -C.sub.18 -cycloalkyl-substituted C.sub.1 - or C.sub.2 -alkyl or is C.sub.7 -C.sub.18 -cycloalkyl, and the cycloalkyl radicals can contain from 1 to 4 rings,
- X.sup.1 is chlorine or bromine and
- n is 0, 1 or 2.
