Abstract
An aqueous ink composition comprising an dyestuff, a wetting agent and water, characterized in that said dyestuff is a compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 are, the same or different, each a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an ammonium group or an organic ammonium group and X is an alkylamine or alkoxyalkylamine residue having 6 to 18 carbon atoms. Said ink composition is improved in storage stability, jet stability, image clarity, water resistance, etc.

An aqueous ink composition comprising a dyestuff, a wetting agent and water, characterized in that said dyestuff is a compound of the formula:
- ##STR5## wherein M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 are, the same or different, each a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an ammonium group or an organic ammonium group and X is an alkylamine or alkoxyalkylamine residue having 6 to 18 carbon atoms.
