Abstract
Bundling of objects using a harnessing device with a locking head and a strap with teeth that are controlled by stretching. The locking head contains a pawl or tang that engages the teeth of the strap by wedging. A wedging tooth is desirably on the locking tang as well, and a further tooth to promote locking is desirably included in the locking head. The strap is advantageously molded of stretch reorientable material which is subsequently stretched to control the profile of the teeth which are engaged by the locking tang and head.

A harnessing device comprising:
- a locking head;
- and
- a strap attached to said head;
- said strap containing, on at least one side thereof, a set of teeth having a curvilinear profile controlled by stretching a plurality of linear segments;
- and
- said locking head including a deflectable locking pawl containing at least a setting tooth and wedging tooth for wedging said strap in said head.

A harnessing device comprising;
- a locking head;
- a strap attached to said head;
- said strap containing, on each of the opposite sides thereof, a set of teeth;
- said head containing a deflectable locking pawl with at least two teeth comprising a setting tooth and wedging tooth for engagement with the set of teeth on said one side of said strap;
- and
- said head further containing at least one separate tooth fixed for engagement with the set of teeth on the opposite side of said strap.
