Abstract
A material used to bear writing or printing, which comprises a substrate and a coating layer formed thereon of a coating material containing a polymer having both hydrophilic segments and hydrophobic segments.
Claims10
A method for recording by writing or printing with ink, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing a material to bear the writing or printing, said material including a substrate of a recording paper suitable for ink recording and a coating layer formed thereon of a coating material containing a polymer having both hydrophilic segments and hydrophobic segments;
- and
- depositing ink on said material.
A method for preparing color images by ink-jet recording, the method comprising the steps of:
- forming droplets, each being one of a plurality of colors of recording liquids, including black recording liquid;
- and
- depositing said droplets on a material including a substrate of a recording paper suitable for ink-jet recording and a coating layer formed thereon of a coating material containing a polymer having both hydrophilic segments and hydrophobic segments.
