Abstract
A process for oligomerizing olefins in the liquid phase using nickel-containing silicaceous crystalline molecular sieve catalyst.
Claims15
A process for oligomerizing alkenes comprising:
- (a) contacting a C.sub.2 to C.sub.20 olefin or mixture thereof in the liquid phase with a nickel-containing silicaceous crystalline molecular sieve selected from the group consisting of HZSM-5, HZSM-11, crystalline admixtures of HZSM-5 and HZSM-11, or mixtures thereof, at a temperature from about 45.degree. F. to about 450.degree. F.;
- (b) recovering an effluent comprising oligomerized alkene.
