An electrolyte consisting of a liquid solution of from about 3.0 to about 4.5 mol/lit sulfuric acid and from about 0.05 to about 0.30 mol/lit boric acid.
An electrolyte for use in an eletrolytic capacitor having an anode composed of a dielectric oxiode film-forming metal consisting of a liquid solution of from about 3.0 to about 4.5 mol/lit sulfuric acid and from about 0.5 to about 0.30 mol/lit boric acid.
