A mutant form of the wild fungus strain Aspergillus niger var. tienhem CBS 319.81 selected from the group consisting of mutants having the following depository designations:
- Aspergillus niger AP 114 - III - 69 (CBS 320.81)
- Aspergillus niger AP 114 - IV - 70 (CBS 321.81)
- Aspergillus niger AP 114 - IV - 74 (CBS 322.81)
- Aspergillus niger AP 114 - IV - 80 (CBS 323.81).
