Abstract
The present invention is an improved process for cooling cement which comprises injecting liquid nitrogen into a pneumatic transport line used to convey the cement.
Claims3
A process for cooling cement being conveyed in a pneumatic transport line which comprises injecting a cryogenic fluid into said transport line at a point such that the distance of the line from a source of the cement to the point of injection is between 1% to 10% of the distance of the line from the injection site to a delivery point, and whereby said cement is cooled to a temperature between 80.degree. to 100.degree.
