Abstract
A method for the preparation of a 2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl carbamic fluoride comprises isomerizing N-(trifluoromethyl)-anthraniloyl fluoride in the presence of hydrogen fluoride to 2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl carbamic fluoride.

A method for the preparation of a 2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl carbamic fluoride which comprises isomerizing an N-(trifluoromethyl)-anthraniloyl fluoride of the formula ##STR3## wherein n is 0 to 2 and X is independently selected from the group, fluoro-, chloro-, bromo-, phenyl-, chlorophenyl-, fluorophenyl-, and bromophenyl-, in the presence of hydrogen fluoride to form a 2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl carbamic fluoride of the formula ##STR4## where n and X are as defined above.
