Abstract
The present invention provides liver uricase, wherein it is covalently bond to a water-soluble polysaccharide, polyacid anhydride, polyvinylpyrrolidone or acid anhydride as carrier substance and is still soluble at pH values below 6. The present invention also provides a process for the preparation of this liver uricase.
Claims8
Liver uricase, wherein it is covalently bound to a water-soluble polysaccharide, polyacid anhydride, polyvinylpyrrolidone or acid anhydride as carrier substance and is still soluble at pH values below 6.
A process for the preparation of a liver uricase covalently bound to a water-soluble polysaccharide, polyacid anhydride, polyvinylpyrrolidone or acid anhydride as a carrier material, and soluble at pH values below 6, comprising the steps of reacting liver uricase in aqueous solution at a pH value of from 9 to 11 with the dissolved carrier material, which contains at least one group capable of reaction with NH.sub.2 groups.
