Abstract
A partitioning system includes a plurality of support posts between which are carried partitions or panels. The support posts have slots therein into which key members positioned on the ends of the panels or partitions may be placed. At each end of the support posts are provided key caps which also include slots into which part of the key members may be positioned.

- a plurality of longitudinally extending slots formed in the exterior of said post element, said slots being open at opposite ends thereof;
- a pair of key caps;
- connection means for connecting each said key cap to a respective end of said post element;
- each said key cap having formed in the exterior thereof a plurality of slots, each of which is open at an end thereof at an edge of said key cap which in use abuts a respective end of said post element;
