Abstract
Highly dielectric organic compounds can be obtained by cyanoethylating a dihydroxyalkylate of a water-soluble polysaccharide or a derivative thereof with acrylonitrile.
Claims15
A process for manufacturing a highly dielectric organic compound which comprises reacting a water-soluble polysaccharide or a derivative thereof with a dihydroxyalkylating agent to form a dihydroxyalkylate and then cyanoethylating the dihydroxyalkylate with acrylonitrle.
A cyanoethylate of a dihydroxyalkylate of a water-soluble polysaccharide or a derivative thereof.
