Abstract
A process for producing photographic paper comprising bleaching a paper web containing from 0 to 65% by weight water is disclosed.

A process for producing photographic paper comprising bleaching a paper web containing from 0 to 65% by weight water, using a size press and drying said web at a temperature of from 50.degree. C. to 80.degree. C. for 30 seconds to 3 minutes, wherein the bleaching agent is H.sub.2 O.sub.2 used in an amount of from about 0.1% to 5.0% by weight, based on the weight of the pulp forming the paper web.
