Abstract
A screen-printable thick film conductor composition for membrane switches consisting of an active phase of conductive metal powder dispersed in an organic medium consisting essentially of a linear aromatic polyester resin dissolved in volatile solvent.
Claims9
A screen-printable composition consisting essentially of (a) 30-80% by weight finely divided particles of conductive material selected from the group consisting of silver, nickel, copper, carbon, iron, gold, platinum, palladium and mixtures and alloys thereof dispersed in (b) 70-20% by weight organic medium which is a solution of linear aromatic polyester resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5 to 1 completely dissolved in a volatile nonhydrocarbon solvent having a boiling point of 150.degree.-220.degree. C., the weight ratio of resin to solvent being from 0.15 to 0.5.
