Abstract
This invention covers a shoe sole composition compounded from polyvinyl chloride and organic cellulosic flock, and the shoe sole product produced therefrom.
Claims14
A polyvinyl chloride based shoe sole formed from a molding composition, said molding composition having as a primary feature a dull non-glossy surface appearance, consisting of a polyvinyl chloride homopolymer resin containing essentially from 5 to 30 parts of a natural organic cellulosic fibrous flock homogeneously dispersed therein having an average length of from about 30 to about 300 microns, and from about 75 to about 100 parts of plasticizer and from about 0.5 to about 1.5 parts of a stabilizer, all based upon 100 parts of polyvinyl chloride homopolymer resin.
