## Abstract

An herbicide antidote having the formula ##STR1## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A composition comprising:
(a) an herbicidally effective amount of a thiocarbamate compound of the formula: ##STR9## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each alkyl having 1-6 carbon atoms, inclusive;
(b) an non-phytotoxic antidotally effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR10## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.

### Claim 2

A composition as defined in cllaim 1 wherein X is hydrogen.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

A composition as defined in claim 1 wherein X is chlorine.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1, 2, 3)

A composition as defined in any of claims 1, 2 or 3 wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 are all propyl.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1, 2)

A composition as defined in any of claims 1, 2, or 3 wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are both propyl and R.sub.3 is ethyl.

### Claim 6

A method of controlling undesirable vegetation and reducing herbicidal crop injury due to a thiolcarbamate herbicide which comprises applying to the locus where control is desired a non-phytotoxic antidotally effective amount of a compound of the formula: ##STR11## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogenn and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

A method as defined in claim 6 wherein X is hydrogen.

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

A method as defined in claim 6 wherein X is chlorine.

### Claim 9

A method of controlling undesirable vegetation and reducing crop injury due to a thiolcarbamate herbicide which comprises applying to the locus where control is desired a composition comprising:
(a) an herbicidally effective amount of a thiocarbamate compound of the formula: ##STR12## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each alkyl having 1-6 carbon atoms, inclusive;
(b) an non-phytotoxic antidotally effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR13## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogenn and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

A method as defined in claim 9 wherein X is hydrogen.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

A method as defined in claim 9 wherein X is chlorine.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9, 10)

A method as defined in any of claims 9, 10, or 11 wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 are all propyl.

### Claim 13 (depends on 9, 10)

A method as defined in any of claims 9, 10, or 11 wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are both propyl and R.sub.3 is ethyl.
