## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of treating an animal for swine exudative epidermitis which comprises administering to said animal an effective amount of at least one metallic salt of pyridine-2-thione-N-oxide to treat or prevent swine exudative epidermitis.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 wherein said administration is applied to the skin of a pig.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2 wherein from 1 to about 4 doses of an aqueous suspension containing about 15 to about 200 milliliters of water containing from 1.5% to 5.0% by weight of zinc pyridine-2-thione-N-oxide are administered to the skin of said pig at intervals of 12 to 48 hours.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2 wherein said pig is treated when it has the clinical symptoms of the disease.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)
