A method of improving the impact properties of nylon 6, a polymer of caprolactam, which comprises melt blending the nylon with 5% to 50% by weight of a polyester elastomer.

An impact modified nylon 6, a polymer of caprolactam, characterized by the melt addition of from 5% to 50% by weight of a polyester elastomer.
