An adhesive composition comprising a low molecular weight fluorine-containing elastomer and fibrillated polytetrafluoroethylene, which is excellent in chemical resistance and weather resistance.

An adhesive composition comprising a fluorine-containing eslatomer having a number average molecular weight of 3,000 to 10,000 and fibrillated polytetrafluoroethylene, the weight ratio of said elastomer and said polytetrafluoroethylene being from 50:1 to 1:1.
