Abstract
2-[p-(p-substituted phenoxy)phenoxy]propionyl oximes, processes for their preparation, herbicidal compositions containing these oximes and methods of use of the herbicidal compositions are disclosed.

An optically active compound of the D-configuration having the formula ##STR10## wherein R is hydrogen or alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbons, R'.sub.3 is bromine or trifluoromethyl and R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are hydrogen with the proviso that R is alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbons when R'.sub.3 is trifluoromethyl.
