Abstract
A 2-oxoimidazolidine derivative of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkyl or phenyl-lower alkyl and R.sup.2 is lower alkyl or phenyl, and a process for preparation thereof are disclosed. Said 2-oxoimidazolidine derivative (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is useful as a hypotensive agent.
Claims2
A 2-oxoimidazolidine derivative of the formula:
- ##STR10## wherein R.sup.1 is methyl, ethyl or benzyl and R.sup.2 is phenyl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A (4S)-1-substituted-3-[(2S)-4-acylthio-2-methylpropionyl]-2-oxo-imidazolidi ne-4-carboxylic acid of the formula:
- ##STR11## wherein R.sup.1 is methyl, ethyl or benzyl and R.sup.2 is phenyl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
