Abstract
This invention relates to new compounds comprising alkoxyimino dioxy butyric acid cepham derivatives, useful as intermediates in the production of antimicrobial agents.
Claims4
A new compound of the formula:
- ##STR7## wherein R.sup.1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have suitable substituents,
- R.sup.2 is carboxy or a protected carboxy group,
- R.sup.6 is hydroxy, lower alkanoyloxy, lower alkoxycarbonyloxy, lower alkanesulfonyloxy, arenesulfonyloxy, aroyloxy, ar(lower)alkanoyloxy, ar(lower)alkoxycarbonyloxy, or methylene,
- X' is hydrogen or halogen, and
- Y' is carbonyl or a protected carbonyl group,
- or its salt.

- R.sup.6 is hydroxy, lower alkanoyloxy or methylene,
