Abstract
4'-acetamidophenyl-2-(5'-p-toluyl-1'-methylpyrrole)acetate and related compounds exhibiting anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activity are disclosed.

A compound of the formula:
- ##STR4## wherein R is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group or a halogen atom and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
A compound 4'-acetamidophenyl-2-(5'-p-toluyl-1'-methyl-pyrrole) acetate and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
