Pesticidal fluorinated esters of the pyrethrin or pyrethroid type

An ester of the formula ##STR171## wherein:

• A is the group ##STR172## wherein:
• V is the group ##STR173## in which R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 are independently chosen from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, cyano, nitro, C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen atoms or C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkoxy, C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 alkenyl optionally substituted with halogen atoms, C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 alkynyl optionally substituted with halogen atoms, C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkoxy and C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkylthio;
• W is chosen from the group consisting of C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen, C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 alkenyl optionally substituted with halogen and C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 alkynyl;
• X is chosen from hydrogen and fluorine;
• and
• B is the group ##STR174## wherein:
• Q is chosen from ##STR175## in which R.sup.40, R.sup.41, R.sup.42, R.sup.43 and R.sup.44 are independently chosen from hydrogen, C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl, halogen and C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 alkenyl and J is oxygen;
• T is chosen from hydrogen, halogen, cyano, C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen, C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 alkenyl and C.sub.2 to C.sub.6 alkynyl;
• and X in the B substituent is as defined above for A with the proviso that at least one of the X substitutents is fluorine.
