Abstract
Novel phenethylamine derivatives represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R is a lower alkyl group, C.sub.n H.sub.2n is a branched or straight alkylene group, A is a phenyl group unsubstituted or substituted with hydroxy, a lower alkoxy or a lower alkylene dioxy group, and n is an integer from 1 to 4, and pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, and bronchdilator containing the same. These bronchdilator have an intense and durable bronchdilating effect and a weak heart stimulating action.

A phenethylamine derivative represented by the general formula:
- ##STR14## wherein R is a lower alkyl group, C.sub.n H.sub.2n is a branched or straight alkylene group, A is a phenyl group substituted with a lower alkylene dioxy group, and n is an integer from 1 to 4, and a pharmacologically acceptable acid-addition salt thereof.
A bronchdilator, comprising a bronchdilating amount of a phenethylamine derivative represented by the general formula:
- ##STR16## wherein R is a lower alkyl group, C.sub.n H.sub.2n is a branched or straight alkylene group, A is a phenyl group substituted with a lower alkylene dioxy group, and n is an integer from 1 to 4, or a pharmacologically acceptable acid-addition salt thereof.
