Abstract
New indoxylmaltodextrins, an enzymatic process for their preparation and their use as a substrate for the analytical detection and the determination of amylases, and rapid diagnostic agents which contain such indoxylmaltodextrins are described.
Claims2
Indoxylmaltodextrins which have the general formula:
- ##STR2## in which n is an integer from 1 to 9, R.sub.1, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are halogen, alkyl or alkoxy with 1-5 carbon atoms, phenyl, substituted phenyl, phenoxy, substituted phenoxy, nitro or hydrogen, R.sub.2 is H, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy with 1-3 C atoms in the alkyl chain and the heterosidic glucoside bond has the .alpha.- or .beta.-configuration.
