Abstract
A process for preparing an amidinecarboxylic acid which comprises reacting, in water, an alkoxyiminoacetic acid ester represented by the formula ##STR1## (wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 individually represent an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms) with an amine represented by the formula R.sup.3 --NH.sub.2 (wherein R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group of 5 to 7 carbon atoms or a benzyl group).
Claims8
A process for preparing an amidinecarboxylic acid which comprises reacting, in water, an alkoxyiminoacetic acid ester represented by the formula ##STR3## (wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 individually represent an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms) with an amine represented by the formula
- R.sup.3 --NH.sub.2
- (wherein R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group of 5 to 7 carbon atoms or a benzyl group).
