Abstract
A novel optically active polymer comprising structural elements of the formula: ##STR1## The polymer is applicable for the optical resolution of a racemic mixture through, for instance, column chromatography.
Claims13
A stereoregular, highly isotactic, optically active polymer comprising recurring structural units of the formula:
- ##STR31## and having a polymerization degree of not less than 5, said polymer having a specific rotation [.alpha]sub.D.sup.20 of not less than 50.degree. as an absolute value, either + or -.
