Abstract
Olefin polymers modified with substituted maleamic acids are described which modified polymers are useful as metal adhesives.
Claims12
A modified olefin polymer comprising the reaction product of monoolefin polymer, about 0.1 to about 20 weight of a substituted maleamic acid of the formulas ##STR3## in which R is a straight or branched alkylene radical of 1-18 carbon atoms, or ##STR4## in which n is zero or one, and R' is a straight or branched alkylene radical of 2-18 carbon atoms or arylene of 6-12 carbon atoms and 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of a radical generator per 100 parts by weight of substituted maleamic acid.
