Abstract
Certain amines are highly effective in controlling parasitic ticks.

A method of controlling parasitic ticks which attack animals comprising administering to said animal in need of treatment a systemically effective amount against said ticks of a compound of the formula
- CH.sub.3 (CH.sub.2).sub.y NH-A
- wherein y is an integer from 9 to 13 and A is ##STR19##
